NEW HOME-SCHOOLING HELP FOR PARENTS!
For Most Subject Areas
- Education.com is releasing free, good quality Independent Study Packs for K to Year 5.
- They are (largely) suitable for children to do with minimal direct parental input.
- We also find the maths tasks to be limiting and overly focussed on Number (see below).
- You can access the Packs at: www.education.com/workbooks/?sort=dateCreated
For Maths
- K7Maths.com provides free daily maths lessons on our Public Lessons Calendar for K-Year 7.
- You can access the Lessons at www.k7maths.com by going to the Planning menu>Public Lessons.
- Simply locate the current school week on the Calendar and click on the coloured bar for your daily lesson.
- You can see more on using the Public Lessons at this link: www.k7maths.com/help/2107
For Home-schooling Teaching Plans
- K7Maths now supports parents with Teaching Plans across ALL learning areas.
- Three Plans are provided - one each for Early, Middle and Later Childhood.
- They are best suited to home-schooling where parents want to have direct input into the learning program.
